Community Council Nomination Results, 13 October 2011
Community councils have been established in 45 areas and there will be an election in one further area.
The names of those people elected unopposed to these community councils are now available from the Community Council Elections page of this website. They will take up their appointment on 3 November 2011.
There will be an election for the Mid Atholl, Strathtay and Grandtully Community Council because more nominations have been received than there are seats available.
Postal votes will be issued on Thursday 20 October 2011 to residents on the electoral roll for this area. Postal votes must be returned by 5pm on Thursday 3 November 2011. Results will be announced on the following day, Friday 4 November 2011.
Community councils will not be established in the following six areas where too few nominations were received: Central, Tulloch, City South, Letham, Rannoch & Tummel and Invergowrie & Kingoodie.
