Council seeks community council advice on advertising major planning applications, 14 Feb 2012

Community Capacity officer Diane Cassidy has sent the following email to all community councils seeking their advice on suitable ways for the Council to advertise major planning applications:

Dear all

At the last Planning Users Forum we were discussing the best ways to let people know about major planning applications in their areas. It was suggested that we ask Community Councils to suggest the best ways of letting their communities know about these. Therefore we are looking for you to suggest what are the most read newspapers and newsletters in your area and are there any particular shops that are the best for putting up posters?

I would be very grateful if you could send me your suggestions.

Best regards

Diane Cassidy
