East Strathearn Community Council to host public meeting on Mull Hill turbine proposal

In January this year Force 9 Energy published results of a survey it carried out as part of its pre-application consultation. Of the 50 completed questoinnaires, 56 per cent said they felt “positive or very positive” about the proposed installation on Abercairny Estates.

However local campaigners claim that the development will be an eyesore, spoiling the view from many vantage points including Kinnoull Hill, Glenalmond, vast swathes of Strathearn from Balgowan, Clathymore, the Gasks, Madderty, Muthill, Auchterarder and beyond Drummond Castle.

East Strathearn Community Council is hosting a public meeting on the Mull Hill proposals in Fowlis Wester’s Community Hall on Tuesday, February 14, at 7pm.
